Prospect Hill was a critical military position during the revolution and the historical fortification remains are still visible on the Hill. Historical Victorian homes line the hillside streets. Although close to many other neighborhoods by bus, the lack of train transportation keeps the rents for apartments and homes affordable. Prospect Hill also offers a great location to Boston and the hospitals.
